NOTICE OF SPECIAL MEETING
The Board of Fire Commissioners of Thurston County Fire Protection Districts 8 will hold a special exempt meeting of the Board on Friday, March 22, 2024, beginning at 9:00 am. The location of the meeting has not yet been determined and will be posted as soon as possible. The estimated duration is up to four hours.
The purpose of the meeting will be to:
1. Legal counsel to provide labor relations training to Board members.
2. Legal counsel to provide Commissioner responsibility training to Board members.
3. Following the training, the Board will meet in Executive Session for the finalization of an employee performance review, as per RCW 42.30.110 (OPMA).

The next REGULAR Board meeting will be April 9, 2024, at 5:30 pm at the South Bay Station 8-1, located at 3506 Shincke Road NE unless otherwise noted. Regular Board meetings will be held once a month on the second Tuesday of the month beginning at 5:30 pm.
